July 17, 2015 – Food Bank For New York City’s network of charities brings much-needed food and services to diverse communities in every borough. As Ramadan comes to a close today, we are proud to have members like Islamic Circle of North America Relief USA (ICNA Relief USA) in our network, working to ensure that Muslim families have enough food to break the fast—and beyond.

Located in Jamaica, Queens, ICNA Relief USA offers an array of services for people in need, and helps to alleviate hunger through its twice-a-week pantry bag program and outreach within the community. Starting September 23 through October, ICNA Relief USA will also provide a variety of meats, including lamb and beef, to Queens residents struggling to put food on the table. As part of Food Bank’s larger network, ICNA Relief USA is helping to ensure that 1.5 million vulnerable New Yorkers get the emergency food and services they need.
