On Monday, November 20, we teamed up with the New York Giants 2023 Rookie class and NYC Deputy Mayor Ana Almanzar to distribute 200 turkeys at the Community Kitchen and Pantry in West Harlem for New Yorkers in need for the holidays. Volunteers helped pack distribution bags full of fresh produce and Thanksgiving fixings such as stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, and vegetable broth.
As 1.2 million New Yorkers face food insecurity this season, Food Bank wants to ensure all New Yorkers have access to a nutritious, warm, and hearty meal especially during the holiday season.
