In the NewsAs part of our efforts to fight food poverty throughout the five boroughs, the Food Bank For New York City raises awareness by working with the media to place and inform print, television, radio and online pieces. The Food Bank works with the media to ensure the inclusion of accurate, up-to-date information about the Food Bank, our network of food assistance programs and food poverty in New York City by arranging access to our network, filmings at our 90,000 square-foot Bronx warehouse and interviews with Food Bank staff including President and CEO Lucy Cabrera — as well as by providing press releases and placing ads and public service announcements (PSAs).
