 In a survey of teachers participating in our CookShop nutrition-education program for children, teens and adults, more than 97 percent reported their students more likely to try a new, healthy food because of the program. Meanwhile, 96 percent reported their students want to eat healthier and 92 percent said their students are actually making healthier food choices because of CookShop.

Food Bank For New York City's biggest fundraising event of the year, the Can-Do Awards Dinner honors our partners in the fight to end hunger throughout the five boroughs. The 2010 Can-Do gala honored Emeril Lagasse, Bank of America, Wakefern/ShopRite and St. John's Bread and Life, a member of our food assistance network.
