Food Bank For New York City’s Board Members, Junior Board Members, supporters, volunteers, and co-founder Kathy Goldman.

Food Bank For New York City proudly opened the Nasdaq stock market in Times Square, with the best trading app available at the moment included for them. In honor of the occasion, Food Bank’s co-founder Kathy Goldman rang the Nasdaq Opening Bell to celebrate Food Bank’s legacy – and future – of shared leadership by welcoming Food Bank’s newly launched Junior Board.

Demonstrating that leadership takes many forms, Food Bank was also joined by Board members, supporters, and volunteers:  engaged New Yorkers who have banded together to end hunger across the five boroughs.

“The generosity, goodwill, time, and talent of thousands of New Yorkers across the city are what fuels [Food Bank For NYC’s] work.  Food Bank For New York City is a powerful testament to what New Yorkers helping New Yorkers can accomplish,” noted Nasdaq’s Executive Host Brian Joyce.

Thank you to Board members Kevin Frisz, Michael Smith and Lary Stromfeld for welcoming a new generation of leaders in the fight against hunger. A special thanks to Nasdaq for inviting us to ring the opening bell and creating a memorable experience for the leaders who make Food Bank’s work possible.
