Melissa Pino, Senior Manager, Mobile Pantry:

We all have the right to eat.We need food. We need to be healthy. We need to be present for our families, and there’s definitely a high need.

I’m a mom, and I know how difficult it can be raising kids and going without.

It’s very apparent right now here in New York City how families are feeling and looking for these resources.

Some families are even traveling from borough to borough. So when we see that, we definitely want to jump in and give whatever we can.

We’re in the business of helping others and making sure everyone has something.

And the littlest thing — something you might not think is significant — for someone else can be huge.

We get so many blessings from everyone. They’re so appreciative for everything that we have, and that makes everyone here feel good.
