As part of Women’s History Month, News 4 New York spotlights Deborah “Deb” Jones—one of the incredible women featured in Food Bank For New York City’s Woman to Woman campaign honoring women who show up for their communities every day. As Transportation Manager stationed the Distribution Center at Hunts Point Produce Market, Deb oversees more than 50 trucks daily, helping move food across the city.. The daughter and granddaughter of immigrants from Barbados, she credits her family’s resilience for shaping her path. “Every morning… you know that there’s someone waiting for the food—you give it your all,” she shares.
