On Tuesday, November 21, Chef Sheri Jefferson, head of the Community Kitchen & Pantry in West Harlem took center stage on The Tamron Hall Show to share her remarkable journey from a struggling single mother to head of Food Bank’s Community Kitchen & Pantry in West Harlem. During the on-air segment titled “Lost & Found,” Chef Sheri showcased how she triumphed over life’s darkest moments to become a beloved Food Banker and Harlem icon. 

At the end of the segment, The Tamron Hall Show awarded Chef Sheri a generous gift of $1,000 in celebration of her outstanding dedication to serving our neighbors across the five boroughs. All photos courtesy of ABC, Jeff Neira.
