Zac Hall is the Senior Vice President of Programs at Food Bank For New York City, where he leads integrated strategies to combat hunger and poverty. With 20+ years’ experience, Zac brings a deep understanding of systemic issues driving food insecurity and focuses on person-centered, community-driven solutions while working to continually develop an impactful data-led team.

At Food Bank For NYC, he oversees two core areas: Community Nutrition, which improves access to healthy food, nutrition education and connections to the health sector; and Economic Empowerment, which connects food insecure households to valuable financial resources and public benefits like SNAP. Under his leadership, Community Nutrition programs reach roughly 100,000 New Yorkers annually, while Economic Empowerment initiatives secure around $50 million in SNAP benefits and support financial literacy for over 1,300 participants.

Zac has also led the expansion of Food Bank For NYC’s Campus Pantry program, which has delivered over 23 million meals to students and families across 90+ school and college sites since 2012, as well as the integration of Food Is Health strategies at the intersection of food insecurity and social determinants of health. He holds an M.A. in International Affairs from The New School and a B.A. in Sociology from Chapman University.
