Biography
David Jones, Senior Vice President of Fundraising Operations at Food Bank For New York City, brings a lifelong commitment to service and volunteering. He joined the organization in 2021 after a successful career in higher education advancement and now leads teams across Donor Relations, Annual Giving, Prospect Research & Management, Database Administration, and Gift Processing.
David is passionate about supporting organizations that meet critical human needs and enjoys sharing best practices with peers across the nonprofit sector. A native of Georgia, he proudly calls New York City home—“the most welcoming city in America, where most everyone has an accent… even Southern ones.”
Outside of work, David enjoys music, theater, and exploring NYC’s rich food scene. A proud University of Georgia graduate, he’s also a devoted fan of SEC college football.
