Biography
Niav Lorenzo is joining Food Bank for New York City in the Emerging Leadership Youth Advocacy Council (ELAC). She was drawn to the organization’s multifaceted approach to aiding community needs. Niav leads with creativity, focusing on new ideas and optimizations that support the Food Bank’s long-term impact throughout the city.
Her background includes creative direction and business consulting for events, marketing, production projects, and design for clients such as NBCUniversal and The Belk Foundation. She is a lifetime Gold Award Girl Scout and professional artist.
She is currently studying at Parsons School of Design for Strategic Design and Management (BBA) with a minor in Global Studies. She has previously attended Massachusetts College of Art and Design for an MFA. In high school, she attended Northwest School of the Arts and Savannah College of Art and Design.
Originally from Maplewood, NJ and North Carolina, Niav now lives in Brooklyn. Outside of work, she enjoys cross-country horseback riding and anything cool.
