"These last three months I've been coming here has been, trust me, a difference between having a meal or buying diapers 'cause that's really my dilemma every month," explains Salimah McAlmon, a determined mother providing for her children while living in a Bronx shelter. Through The HopeLine Resource Center—which created the first diaper center of its kind in the Bronx—mothers are empowered with both food assistance and essential baby products that traditional aid programs often overlook.

Support our community member agencies that help mothers overcome challenges and build better futures for their families by donating today.

Hopeline through my preventive worker.  It helped me out a lot, like, helping feed the kids, then also getting diapers.I really depend on them every month.  These last three months I’ve been coming here has been, trust me, a difference between having a meal or buying diapers ‘cause that’s really my dilemma every month.  Very stressful, depressing, and just, like, feeling, like, defeated in a way.  I know there’s necessities my kids need, and sometimes I don’t have it.  I just wanna say whoever’s giving these donations or whoever started this, you have been a blessing. I just hope that, these donations can continue to help other families.

I live in a shelter.

I found out about [The]Hopeline through my preventive worker.

It helped me out a lot, like, helping feed the kids, then also getting diapers. I really depend on them every month.
