Bringing Community Voices to the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health

On September 28, for the first time in more than 50 years, the White House is hosting a conference on food insecurity.
Ahead of the White House Conference on Hunger, Food Bank For New York City, along with our colleagues at City Harvest and United Way of New York City engaged thousands of New Yorkers who visit the emergency food network to provide community input about the experience of food insecurity using a survey created by Feeding America called Elevating Voices to End Hunger Together.
Visit the White House Conference webpage for more information on how to participate, including:

  • Learn the background and agenda for the day
  • Register to receive the link to watch the conference online
  • Provide your thoughts and stories of food insecurity
