What is it? TEFAP is a federal program that supplements the diets of low-income persons, including the elderly, by providing emergency food and nutrition assistance.
Fee associated: None
Who is eligible? All Food Bank For New York City members that are food pantries, soup kitchens or shelters.
How do I apply? A TEFAP Agreement is provided by the Food Bank when you first become a Food Bank network member. To continue to receive TEFAP allocations you must be a member in good standing.
How do I access? Organizations must place orders through the Food Bank’s Online Ordering System.
