Food Bank works with a network of more than 1,000 food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers, schools, and summer programs. We provide ongoing education, advocacy and nutrition services to our member programs in order to strengthen the New York City hunger-relief community and our combined ability to combat hunger and its causes.

Our members receive:

  • Grant Administration
  • Educational Workshops to build capacity throughout the five boroughs
  • Site Visits and Monitoring including technical assistance
  • Customer Service
  • Volunteer Referral
  • Online Agency Intranet, including online ordering, tools and resources

 

NYC’s Conference on Hunger and Poverty
Each year Food Bank hosts NYC’s Conference on Hunger and Poverty to educate our network members, help enhance their services and create a community where ideas and experiences can be shared.
