Media Advisory: Chef Anne Burrell Will Add Her Own Touches and Serve Dinner to an Estimated 500 New Yorkers in Need at The Food Bank For New York City's Community Kitchen in West Harlem
...and the Secret Ingredient is..."Bleue" Eggs (that's No Yoke!)
Food Network Chef, Anne Burrell, host of Secret's of a Restaurant Chef and co-host of Worst Cooks in America, won't be disappointed when she samples the Chinese Feast waiting for her (and guests) at the Food Bank For New York City's Community Kitchen and Food Pantry of West Harlem on Friday, March 25th, starting at 3:00pm, 252 West 116th Street, Manhattan.
Chef Anne will add her own finishing touches to the menu before helping to serve the dinner meal to an expected 500 guests at the Community Kitchen. Thanks to a generous donation of 900 dozen Platine Heirloom 'Bleue' eggs from Pete &Gerry's (and yes, they are really blue), the dinner menu will consist of: Egg Roll, vegetable and egg fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, oriental blend mixed vegetables, chef salad with boiled egg and apple pie (with a fantastic pastry crust - made with eggs!). Blue eggs will also be on display!
Please join Anne in the Kitchen. Dinner will be served - starting at 4PM!
