Food Bank for New York City

Food Bank Bites

“Hungry people aren’t always in soup kitchens, sometimes they are walking the aisles of the ShopRites making decisions, tough decisions, about how they are going to feed their families….

"That is why we became engaged with the Food Bank — to help put a stop gap measure in there.”

—Christine Magyartis, Wakefern Food Corporation.

Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival

When: October 7, 2010 - October 10, 2010

Presented by Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure magazines, the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival features the hottest celebrity chefs and the biggest names in wines and spirits, all set against the backdrop of the country's culinary capital — New York City! Like its sister event, the wildly successful Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival, the festival proved in its first year to be one of the premiere food events in the country. In 2008, the NYC Wine & Food Festival raised $1 million for hunger relief —  help us do more in 09!

Check out the 2009 Schedule of Events — and get Tickets while they last! Plus, contact us about volunteer opportunities!
