New York City Council Candidate Forums: District 41
2017 is a New York City-wide election year and an important moment for New Yorkers to decide who will represent their interests in City Government. To better ensure that voters hear from those seeking to represent them, Food Bank For New York City presents a series of Candidate Forums in select competitive New York City Council races.
In partnership with local member emergency food agencies, community groups, and the Campaign Finance Board’s NYC Votes unit, Food Bank’s City Council Candidate Forums will cover hunger, poverty and a range of issues of importance in the local community and provide an opportunity for voters to learn about and meet the candidates. Space is limited, RSVP is requested. Doors at 6:30 PM, event begins at 7:00 PM.
The Forum co-hosts have exercised good faith judgment in selecting candidates to participate in this forum and do not endorse, support or oppose political candidates and/or parties through participation in the forum.
