Food Bank President and CEO Dr. Lucy Cabrera and Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg recently came together to announce the success of the Child Care Tax Credit. “Coupled with the Earned Income Tax Credit, the refund can be significant and help move hardworking New Yorkers up the economic ladder,” shared Mayor Bloomberg. The press conference was held at St. Mark’s A.M.E. Church in Jackson Heights, Queens — one of the Food Bank’s Tax Assistance sites.
