Find Help

In our city, 3 million New Yorkers experience difficulty affording food. If you or your family is facing difficult decisions between keeping food on the table and meeting other basic necessities such as rent, medical expenses or utilities, the Food Bank's programs can help provide essential resources to help you get by.

Food Program Locator

Find a soup kitchen, food pantry or senior center that is convenient to you. The Food Bank can also help you locate after-school and summer programs, low-income daycare centers, Open Market BackPack Programs for children, shelters, rehabilitation centers and youth programs in our citywide network.

Summer Meals

Over the summer months, hundreds of thousands of children in NYC lose access to free and reduced-price school meals. The Food Bank works with the NYC Department of Education to make sure these children have access to the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP, also known as Summer Meals).

Food Stamps

If you need help buying food, you are not alone. Thousands of New Yorkers are reaching out for help in this tough economy. The federal Food Stamp Program is a simple, dependable way to buy food in times like these.

Free Income Tax Services

Last year, the Food Bank For New York City helped get New Yorkers more than $60 million they were owed in tax refunds and credits. You earned it. The Food Bank will help you claim it.
